These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lovilin website at lovilin.com and any purchase you make through it. By accessing the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

 

1.  Who We Are

The Lovilin website is operated by House of Good Thingz, Cairo, Egypt ("HGT"), the authorised operating company for Lovilin LLC, USA. Lovilin is a registered trademark of Lovilin LLC. For the purposes of these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to House of Good Thingz acting on behalf of Lovilin.

2.  Acceptance of Terms

By visiting, browsing, or placing an order on this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The date of the most recent revision will be displayed at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

3.  Products and Product Information

3.1  Product descriptions

We make every reasonable effort to ensure product descriptions, ingredient lists, certifications, and images are accurate and up to date. Product images are for illustrative purposes; minor variations in colour or packaging may occur.

Product formulations, certifications, and labelling may change. The most current information is always available on the individual product page. If you have a question about a specific batch or formulation version, contact us before purchasing.

3.2  Certifications

All Lovilin products comply with EOS (Egyptian Organization for Standardization & Quality) standards for safety, formulation integrity, and manufacturing quality.

NRC (National Research Centre) food-grade testing applies to the Antibacterial Toy & Surface Cleaner and the Antibacterial Bottle & Dish Cleanser, validating their suitability for use on surfaces and items that come into contact with children, including toys, highchairs, feeding items, bottles, and baby accessories.

EDA (Egyptian Drug Authority) certification applies specifically to the Antibacterial Bottle & Dish Cleanser, covering its use in applications involving baby feeding items and sensitive-use environments.

All products are manufactured in ISO-certified facilities: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems), and ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety).

We do not make certification claims beyond those documented and verified by the relevant issuing institutions. Current certification documents are available on the Certifications page of this website.

3.3  Usage directions

Products must be used as directed on the label. Lovilin products are cleaning formulations designed for the specific contact surfaces described on each product. They are not intended for any other use. Follow all product usage, dilution, storage, and safety instructions.

3.4  Allergen and sensitivity information

While our products are formulated without added fragrance, dyes, phosphates, and certain other sensitising compounds (as specified per SKU), we cannot guarantee that any product is suitable for every individual. If your child or any user has known sensitivities or medical conditions, consult a physician before use. Our ingredient lists are fully disclosed on each product page.

4.  Orders and Purchasing

4.1  Placing an order

Orders placed through the Lovilin website constitute an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order, including in cases of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity. An order confirmation email constitutes acceptance of your offer.

4.2  Pricing

All prices are displayed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The price at the time of order confirmation is the price you will be charged.

4.3  Payment

We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment is processed at the time of order placement. We do not store full payment card details on our systems.

4.4  Subscription orders

If you choose a subscription purchase, you authorise recurring charges at the stated frequency and price. You may pause, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation requests received before your next scheduled processing date will take effect from that cycle. We will not charge for a cycle already cancelled before processing.

5.  Delivery

5.1  Delivery areas

We currently deliver within Egypt. Delivery to specific governorates may be subject to availability. Delivery timelines displayed at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed.

5.2  Delivery charges

Delivery charges are displayed at checkout before order confirmation. Free delivery thresholds, if applicable, are stated on the website at the time of ordering.

5.3  Risk and title

Title and risk in the products pass to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. If a delivery is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, re-delivery charges may apply.

5.4  Delivery delays

We are not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to carrier delays, weather events, or public holidays. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if a significant delay occurs.

6.  Returns and Refunds

6.1  Damaged or defective products

If a product arrives damaged or is defective, contact us within 7 days of receipt with your order number and a description (and photo where applicable) of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

6.2  Change of mind

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of opened products. Unopened products in their original, sealed condition may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.

6.3  Refund processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

6.4  Subscription returns

For subscription orders, the return policy above applies per shipment. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for previously delivered items unless those items meet the return criteria above.

7.  Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, product descriptions, images, brand identity, logo, visual systems, and formulation information — is the property of Lovilin LLC or House of Good Thingz and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. The Lovilin trademark is registered in the USA.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Sharing individual product pages or linking to the website is permitted.

8.  User Conduct

By using this website you agree not to:

•        Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Egyptian or international law.

•        Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, server, or connected system.

•        Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

•        Use automated tools to scrape, index, or harvest data from the site without our written consent.

•        Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, harmful, or infringes the rights of any third party.

9.  Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lovilin and House of Good Thingz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the website or any product purchased through it.

Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product(s) to which the claim relates.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10.  Third-Party Links and Platforms

This website may contain links to third-party websites or reference third-party platforms (including Amazon Egypt and Noon Egypt). We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Links do not constitute endorsement.

Purchases made through Amazon Egypt or Noon Egypt are subject to those platforms' own terms and conditions in addition to our product policies.

11.  Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under applicable law.
